Jack grew up in Bossier City, Louisiana where he discovered his passion for the law volunteering as a prosecutor in Bossier City’s Teen Court initiative. He graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, earning a B.A. in Political Communication from the Manship School of Mass Communications with a minor in history.

Jack then attended Southern University Law Center, graduating cum laude, receiving his J.D. and Tax Law Certificate. While in law school, Jack was the founder and President of the Tax Law Society and participated as a student attorney at the SULC Tax Clinic helping low-income taxpayers negotiate settlement offers with the IRS. After his first year of law school, Jack worked as a teacher’s assistant tutoring first year law students in Civil Procedure, Contracts, and Obligations. Jack started his legal career as a law clerk at Montiel Hodge. Upon Graduation Jack and his wife Erika Moved to New Orleans where he accepted a position as an Associate Attorney at Montiel Hodge.

Outside of the office, Jack and his wife Erika enjoy taking in the live music New Orleans has to offer. Also, if the weather is right, you will catch Jack and his buddies returning from the Westbank with a sack of oysters or enjoying 18 on the Audubon Park Golf Course.
